Dining at Spice Road Table and using the DDP. Can 2 small plate appetizers be exchanged for one entrée?

Hi, Lori! I am so glad you brought this question to us, as it gave me a chance to reminisce about this interesting World Showcase dining location. Epcot is home to so many unique restaurants, but Spice Road Table is even more so with their tapas-style menu. By offering tapas, or small plates, Guests are able to try a variety of Mediterranean tastes instead of sticking with just one dish. My daughter and I spent an evening at Spice Road Table, enjoying the tapas and the cool breeze coming off the water, and later had an excellent view of Illuminations: Reflections of Earth. I think you will find you have made an excellent choice to visit this dining location!

Lori, the Disney Dining Plan states that Guests are to order an entree, dessert, and nonalcoholic beverage when using their Table Service credits. Since the Meditteranean Small Plates are considered appetizers, technically you would not be able to substitute two of them for one entree. In my experience with the Disney Dining Plan, I have occasionally been able to order one item from the appetizer section instead of an entree. If you see one of the small plates that sounds more delicious than an entree, ask the Cast Member serving you if you would be allowed to order it.

I hope you have a wonderful evening at Since Road Table, Lori. Please stop by again if you have any further questions for us.
