We will be dining in the Royal Castle and Tuskers. I was wondering what is considered to be a "good tip" to leave? I know most places are 20% anywhere you go but most places aren't expensive all the time. I am not sure of prices on the menu at al

    Hello Misty,

I love the fact you are thinking ahead and budgeting for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. When determining a food budget, the Walt Disney World website and allears.net are great references. On the Walt Disney World website, simply type in the restaurants name. On the right hand side of the page select menu to reveal the food and prices currently offered at this restaurant.

When it come to tipping, I recommend taking into consideration your service by the Cast Member. If he, or she, has done her job and there is no rumbly in my tumbly and my family is happy then I am a 20% tipper. At most table service restaurant, when your dining receipt comes, at the bottom, Walt Disney World has conveniently provided Guests with the amount of an 18% tip and a 20% tip in relation to their bill. Guests have the option, to choose their amount. Parties of 6 or more will have an automatic 18% added to their bill but can adjust their tip accordingly.

If I can be of anymore pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and may your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World be filled with many magical and memorable moments.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
