    hi moms, have dining reserved at planet hollywood 4:15, planed to spend 1st part of our day @ AK. How do we travel to Dtown from AK? do we go back to our resort & take the bus? what time should we leave AK to make it for our dinner? we are staying @ AS

    Hi, Roxane!  Your best bet is to take a bus from Animal Kingdom to the Transportation and Ticket Center, and from there, take a bus to Downtown Disney.  If you prefer, you can go back to your resort first, but this saves you that step.

    If your reservation is at 4:15, I would plan to be on the bus to the Transportation and Ticket Center by about 3:15.  In some cases, it doesn't take a full hour, but in case you have to wait for a bus, it's better to allow yourself a little bit of extra time.  They usually ask you to check in a few minutes early at the podium when you are dining anyway. 

    At this time of day, you should not run into full buses, but I always allow myself an hour of transportation time.  This takes away the stress of having to run, and this is one Mom who is definitely not a runner!
