If I make dining reservations using my name and credit card, can I give the reservation to someone else. And can they use their own credit card in paying for the meal?

Hi there, Art! Welcome to planDisney!

Dining reservations are often a stress-free way to ensure you set aside time for an incredible dining experience while at the Disneyland Resort. Some of my favorite dining locations to grab a reservation include the Carthay Circle Lounge and Café Orleans.

If you book a dining reservation but would like to offer it to someone else, you may do so. The person should, however, mention the name the reservation is under when checking in with a Cast Member. Additionally, I recommend sending them a copy of the reservation information as a backup. When it comes to the credit card entered during the reservation process, that card will only be used if you miss your reservation without canceling. For the actual meal, your Guest will be given a check and can pay with a different credit card, cash, or even a Disney Gift Card.

I hope you and your Guests enjoy the Happiest Place on Earth. Should another question come to mind, please come back to planDisney!

    Happy planning,
