Hi there, Emily, and welcome to planDisney! We are so glad you're here. Wow! Your arrival at Walt Disney World Resort is just a few short weeks away! I am so excited for you and your family, I am sure you all are eagerly counting down the weeks! As Princess Tiana says, you're "almost there!".
Dining is such an important part of any family vacation, especially when you visit Walt Disney World! There are so many amazing dining options to choose from, which often at times can be overwhelming! My family loves trying out new restaurants each trip, and returning to our "go-to's". You cannot sleep on the snacks! Sometimes a snack could turn into a meal (check out the baked macaroni and cheese with pulled pork from
8 Spoon Café at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park!) One great thing about planning dining at Walt Disney World is that you are not tied down to just dining at the theme park you visit that day. If you want to make a reservation at a resort, you absolutely can! In the past, I have started my day with breakfast at
Grand Floridian Café at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (their Mickey waffles and breakfast casserole are incredible, as well as their grand mimosas!) followed by a day at Disney's EPCOT Park.
Go ahead and make that reservation as soon as possible, Emily, as popular restaurants fill up their openings very fast! Have a magical time visiting Walt Disney World!
Frances
