Hi Britt,
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney! I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble making dining reservations, and I'd be happy to try to help!
First, Hakuna Matata...no worries! Guests staying off property are definitely welcome to make dining reservations both in the
theme parks and at the
Disney Resort hotels. In fact, with
Disney's commitment to health and safety, the only way Guests who are staying offsite are able to gain access to a Disney Resort hotel is with a confirmed dining reservation. My family loves hopping around the Resort hotels and checking out their gorgeous details and immersive theming, so I'd definitely recommend making a dining reservation at several of them!
But hmm...I'm not sure why you're not seeing any
restaurant availability. Is it more than 60 days before your visit? Dining reservations become available 60 days in advance, so if your trip is further out than that, that could explain why you're not seeing any open reservations. Otherwise, it's possible that pesky old Stitch is messing with the system. I'd try looking both on a computer and through the
My Disney Experience mobile app as well as checking over various dates and times. If you do all that and you're still not seeing
any availability anywhere, it's most certainly a glitch. Once the system recovers from Stitch's destructiveness, you should be able to see what's currently available and make reservations for something delicious! If you notice that a restaurant you'd really like to try isn't showing any availability, don't give up! Keep checking back, as Guests frequently change their plans and new reservations show up. In fact, with Disney's
dining cancellation policy, it's often possible to find availability just a day or two beforehand!
I'm sending pixie dust that you're able to find the
perfect dining reservations for your trip, Britt, and hope that you have a truly magical...and
delicious...vacation!
Missy
