Are dining reservations for desert parties and dining events linked to magic bands?

    Hello Vidhyashankar!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am so happy you asked a question about the fabulous Dessert Parties and dining events that take place at Walt Disney World.  My personal favorite Dessert Party has to be Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular Dessert Party at Disney's Hollywood Studios.  The fun Star Wars themed desserts and adorable souvenir you get to bring home make it a must-do in my book.

Don't think of dining reservations as being linked to your MagicBand,  they will be seen in your  My Disney Experience account that will show up online or on your app on your phone.  However, they will not be linked to your MagicBand.   When you arrive for an Advanced Dining Reservation or Dessert Party the Cast Member at the host stand will ask your name and will check you in.   The list is constantly updated electronically so even if you make a last minute reservation they will be able to find you.

I hope this has helped answer your question.  Please let us know if we can help with anything else.  It's always a pleasure to help a fellow Guest.
