I am about to make dining reservations on the 60th day out from our park visit. We will be staying at a Disney Hotel the day before we have park tickets. Does the 60th day begin from our first park ticket day or the first day that we are staying on site?

    Hi Meredith!

Congratulations on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World! When you stay at a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel you can begin making your advanced dining reservation 60-days in advance. This 60-day mark begins 60 days prior to your check-in date. Therefore, even if you aren't visiting the parks until the following day, you can still make advanced dining reservations for restaurants in Disney Springs, a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, or at Disney's Boardwalk.

I have a few suggestions on great restaurants you can consider booking. At Disney's Magic Kingdom, I love Crystal Palace. They have a great selection of food on their all-you-care-to-eat buffet and you can dine with Winnie the Pooh. Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort is another great character dining location and you can eat with Mickey Mouse and friends. Brown Derby is a great choice at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Biergarten is a wonderful German restaurant at EPCOT.

I hope you have a magical vacation!
    Magically,
    Stacy
