Can you make dining reservations before you book your actual package? Waiting on booking hotel for when special offers are announced.

Hi, Denise! Yes, you certainly can make your Advance Dining Reservations before booking your package.  Dining reservations can be made by anyone (non-Resort Guests, Annual Passholders, etc...) with or without a vacation package being in place.  However, I want to encourage you to go ahead and book your vacation so that you can get the Resort package you want for the dates you need. If promotions are released, you can modify your reservation to include the deal, subject to availability.  Disney will not automatically modify your reservation, you will need to call 407-W-DISNEY to check availability and make the change, if possible. There will not be a fee to update the same reservation with the promotion.  Keep an eye on the Special Offers page for one that might work for you, your travel dates, and your accommodations.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
