Dining reservations at BOG at 9:20pm. We are concerned that the Beast will not be making appearances that close to the 9:30pm closing time. Kids are set on meeting the Beast. Do you know if he appears that late? Hope he does! Thanks!

Hi, Dawn!  You will be happy to know based on my personal dining experiences at Be Our Guest, the Beast is a bit of a night owl, and he doesn't seem to be the type to turn in early.  We have seen him as late as 10 PM, when leaving after a delicious dinner.

I do want to remind you, however, that Be Our Guest is not considered a character dining experience, so there is never a guarantee that you will have the opportunity to meet the Beast.  He is usually in the library, which you must pass through on your way out of the restaurant, but at any time, he may be called away to a private part of the castle to handle Beastly affairs.  We've dined quite a few times at the castle, and this has happened to us only once, but I did want to make you aware.  You can usually see when he is moving into the library, so if you end your meal and he isn't greeting guests, you may be able to wait a few minutes to see if he passes back through the dining room on his way to the library.

I hope you have a fabulous meal.  There are so many wonderful things on the menu to try.  And seriously, the grey stuff IS delicioius!  Save room for dessert.
