With dining reservations, can adults split entrees and appetizers, can children split adult entrees?

    Hello Hope!

Welcome to planDisney! Eating and snacking my way around Disney is one of the best parts of vacation. This a great question, and one I think many Guests have. The answer is that it depends! You can do this at some locations and can be a great way to save money, and a little room in your tummy for snacks later on!

If you are dining at a location that does family-style dining, all-you-care-to-enjoy locations, or a prix fixe menu such as the Biergarten Restaurant or the character breakfast at Topolino’s Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera, each Guest will be expected to purchase their own entree. Guests ages 10 and older would be charged the adult price and Guests ages 3 to 9 would be charged the child’s price.

At dining locations where you order a la carte off a menu, Guests are usually allowed to share appetizers and entrees and children may order off the adult menu. While this is not a guarantee, in my experience I have always been able to do this. As a family of 6, we may share several appetizers, entrees, and desserts because so many items on the menu look amazing, but I cannot personally eat them all by myself! So order, share and enjoy!

    Bon Appetit!
