Hi Kacey!
Welcome back to planDisney! Outdoor dining is a popular option for many Guests. With the pandemic, many of us have preferred outdoor seating when available. While I can give you some ideas of restaurants that offer outdoor seating, you cannot specifically reserve an outdoor table. Seating is on a space available, first-come, first-served basis, and while you can request it, you cannot be guaranteed you will be dining al fresco. I just want to be sure you know that before you book, to avoid any disappointment upon arrival at the restaurant if you are given an inside table.
At Magic Kingdom, the only table service restaurant that offers outdoor seating is
Tony’s Town Square Restaurant. The outdoor seating area is very small and with social distancing, very few Guests are sat in this area. At Epcot, your best chances for outdoor seating are at
Spice Road Table. Enjoy Mediterranean small places with waterfront views. The outdoor seating area is covered, but is open-air and offers quite a few tables, so your odds of eating outdoors here are better than most other locations. Also at Epcot is the
Rose & Crown Dining Room which also has several outdoor tables. Be sure to try the Sticky Toffee Pudding!
To increase your chances at an outdoor table, I recommend choosing less popular times to dine. For example, an early lunch at 11 AM, a late lunch around 2 PM, or an early dinner at 4 PM. I would arrive at the podium 15 or so minutes early and politely request an outdoor table, but do be prepared they may not be able to meet your request.
I hope this helps with your planning. Sending you pixie dust for that perfect al fresco dining location, Kacey!
