We have a dining reservation at a one of the hotels, but we are not staying on property. Can we park there during our meal? Is there a fee?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Alicia!

I'm so happy to hear that you've made dining reservations for one of the fabulous restaurants at the Disney Resorts while you're in Orlando. I hope that means you'll also be visiting the parks for some more Disney magic too!

No matter where you're staying, when you have dining reservations at a Disney Resort, you get three hours of free parking there for your reservation time. Just show the guard at the gate your reservation and you'll be all set to park and enjoy your meal. Since three hours is plenty of time, that means you can arrive early and explore the resort a bit too, or stay after your meal and wander the grounds. Just walking around the resorts is a great way to spend a few hours, because each one is so unique! You may even find a new favorite and decide to stay there the next time you visit Walt Disney World! That's how my family and I discovered our favorite resort, Animal Kingdom Lodge. We dined at Sanaa there during another trip and fell in love with the African-themed ambience and of course, the gorgeous savannah views with animals right outside the windows, that we decided we simply had to stay there for our next visit! It's been our favorite resort ever since!

Have fun planning, Alicia, and enjoy a great meal!
