I have a dining reservation under one Disney account and my park tickets are under another account. Can I still use my dining reservation?

    Hello there Destiny!

Thanks for visiting planDisney with your question. Your magical Disney World vacation is coming up very soon... how exciting! Have you started packing your sunscreen and Mickey ears yet? Oh, boy!

You've done an excellent job by making an advance dining reservation in preparation for your trip. A Disney Dining experience can really add to those vacation memories, and is one of my family's favorite parts! Yes, you can absolutely still use your dining reservation. When you arrive at your restaurant, you typically have the option to either check in on your mobile device using the My Disney Experience app, or in person with assistance from a Cast Member. They'll be able to find your reservation by looking up your name and reservation time, and get you all checked in.

Because it's so handy to use the My Disney Experience app during your vacation, you may consider merging your tickets and dining reservation into one My Disney account? Then you'll be able to log in to the app and access everything in one place. I recommend trying to log in under the account with the dining reservations, then from the home screen select the "≡" menu icon in the lower right corner, select the "My Tickets and Passes" tile, then click the "+" in the top right corner to link to your tickets. If this doesn't work, you could also call the Disney Tickets & Reservations number and have a Cast Member assist with combining your plans under one account.

Again, merging your plans is optional! You will be able to use your park tickets and check in to your dining reservation with no issues. I just thought it may be helpful and less confusing once you are at Disney World to have merged all your tickets, reservations, and plans under one account in the My Disney Experience app. The app is really handy, and will allow you to do various things during your park day. For example, you may wish to purchase Lightning Lane passes, watch the attraction wait times, check in to your advance dining reservation, or place a mobile food order at a Quick-Service dining location... which is a nice option to skip the stand by line.

Destiny, I hope you have a wonderful time at the Most Magical Place on Earth! Please let me know if I can answer any other questions. Just send me a message at planDisney, I'm happy to help!

    Sending pixie dust,
    Tami
