Hi Margaret,
A dinner at
'Ohana and a walk around
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort sound like a wonderful way to spend an evening! You'll be happy to know that all Walt Disney World Resort Guests are free to tour the main areas of the Resort hotels, so definitely feel free to walk around and experience the lobby and grounds of this beautiful tropical Resort as early as you'd like. You'll be able to view Magic Kingdom Park's
Happily Ever After fireworks from the beach there, plus you may even get to see the
Electrical Water Pageant. If you're driving your own car and will be parking at the Resort, you'll be entitled to a few hours of free parking, so you should be fine to arrive an hour or more before your dinner reservation to have some time to tour the Resort.
Enjoy your dinner at 'Ohana! It's one of my family's favorite places to eat. The atmosphere is so fun and festive, and the food is absolutely delicious. My husband loves the endless skewers of meat, I'm a huge fan of the noodles, and my whole family agrees that the bread pudding with caramel and bananas is
incredible!
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Margaret, and please let us know if you have any other questions. I hope you have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
