If my dining reservation isn't in their respective park-- ie; I stay at Magic Kingdom the whole day and my reservation is in EPCOT. Can I go to EPCOT during my dinner time or do I have to 'hop' over at 2pm?

    Hi Chester,

Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for bringing us another great question about how to make all of your Park-Hopping dreams come true!

Your Park-Hopping window will open each day at 2:00 PM. That doesn't mean that you have to hop at that time; it just allows you to do so if you'd like. It's completely fine if you wait until later in the evening to hop to a park, and if you'd like to visit more than two parks per day, you're welcome to do that, too. You simply may not enter your second park until 2:00 PM or later.

Now, I do want to make sure you're aware that having a dining reservation in a park does not guarantee you access to that park. If your vacation happens to be at a very popular time of year (like the week between Christmas and New Year's Day, for example), Park-Hopping availability could be restricted due to capacity issues. It's safest to make your Disney Park Pass reservation for the same park where you plan to dine, but please feel free to do whatever is best for you. You can always check current Park-Hopping availability by keeping an eye on the My Disney Experience mobile app, calling (407) 560-5000, or checking with a transportation Cast Member before you head over to a different park.

I hope this helps, Chester! Thanks again for visiting us here at planDisney, and please feel free to keep your great questions coming. I hope you have a truly magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
