If you have a dining reservation, how much earlier do you need to be there? Can you show up about the time the reservation is for?

    Hello Sammie,

You are perfectly fine showing up right at your Advance Dining Reservation. However,  keep in mind, unlike a typical reservations in a restaurant where you show up and normally sit down right away, with an advance dining reservation you may have a wait time from 10- 30 minutes. In essence, as soon as you check-in, you are put at the top of the list for the next available spot. I typically like to arrive about 15 minutes before my advance dining reservation and in the past have waited no longer than 15 minutes and on several occasions have been seated immediately. The wait time is predicated on the time of year you travel, the less crowds, usually the less wait and the more crowds, then usually a longer wait.

Enjoy your upcoming stay at Walt Disney World and continue to visit us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel for further pixie dusted assistance.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
