Hi Jaqueline,
I love your plan! My family has often been known to make a dining reservation at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa on a day that we are visiting
Magic Kingdom. Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is so close to Magic Kingdom, and offers many delightful dining locations. One of our favorites is the
Grand Floridian Cafe. It is casual an offers delicious fare in a lovely setting.
I have good news for you, Jaqueline. You are more than welcome to use the walking path from Magic Kingdom to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa - anyone can use it! You do not need to be a resort guest in order to take this walkway.
If you decide that you would like to take another mode of transportation between Magic Kingdom and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, you could take the
monorail or a
boat. The walkway is lovely; however, if you have done a whole day of walking at the Magic Kingdom, you might find that you would prefer a mode of transportation that keeps you off of your feet!
I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Jaqueline. Have a great time planning your magical vacation, and please do feel free to come back to planDisney with any further questions!
