We have a late dinner reservation (after 9pm) at the Polynesian on the same night as MNSSHP. Will we be able to ride the monorail to Magic Kingdom after and hop on a bus to take us back to our resort? Or is the monorail only available to partygoers? Thanks

    Hello there, Lindsay!

Eating at one of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort’s restaurants will transport you to the South Pacific. This is one of my favorite Resort hotels to visit during my Walt Disney World Resort vacations because of the incredible atmosphere. If you are looking for a sweet treat after your dinner, I highly recommend mobile ordering Bread Pudding from Kona Cafe To Go and eating it along the Resort waterfront. I did this on a recent trip, and it was the perfect way to wrap up our evening.

Lindsay, one of the best parts about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is that the Walt Disney World Transportation is a complimentary and safe mode of transportation for Guests visiting the Resorts hotels. The Resort Monorail and Express Monorail begin operating 30 minutes before Magic Kingdom Park opens and they stop one hour after Magic Kingdome Park closes. In addition, Bus service between Disney Resort hotels and Disney theme parks begins 45 minutes prior to opening and ends one hour after closing. As long as you go to ride the Monorail back to Magic Kingdom Park and the bus back to your Resort hotel before these windows close, you will certainly be able to ride the monorail from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to Magic Kingdom Park after your dinner.

Besides visiting the four theme parks, I enjoy Resort hopping to the immersive restaurants and lounges available at the Resort hotels. For example, you can take the monorail from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Not only does Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa have my favorite restaurant, Narcoossee’s, but they also have a beautiful lounge themed after Beauty and the Beast called the Enchanted Rose

There is more to see than can ever be seen at the Walt Disney World Resort. Feel free to circle back if you’re looking for any other advice.

May the magic be with you!
