Hi Emily!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with a question about your visit to
Cinderella's Royal Table. I'm so happy to hear that you'll be enjoying a visit to this popular restaurant with your little ones! I'm sure they'll feel like true royalty as they get to enter Cinderella Castle and dine with Disney princesses. Make sure you have your camera ready to capture some adorable pictures of those meetings! We started visiting the parks when our oldest was just 13 months old and have priceless memories from those visits with our boys as toddlers.
Children under three are considered guests of Mickey in many ways while visiting Walt Disney World Resort, including complimentary admission to the theme parks. Many of the
character dining experiences allow children under three to dine for free and as you probably already noticed, you do not have to pay for your little ones to dine at Cinderella's Royal Table. I chatted with a Cast Member today to confirm for you though that the expectation is that children under three would be sharing plates with others at the table. If you would like to order separate children's meals for them, they would need to pay the child's price for the meal. As you continue to plan for your visit, I would also recommend character dining at
Garden Grill at EPCOT,
Tusker House Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park,
Disney Junior Play n' Dine Breakfast at Hollywood and Vine in Disney's Hollywood Studios, and
Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort. These have been a few of our favorites over the years!
Since you are visiting Walt Disney World Resort with toddlers, I wanted to share with you that
Baby Care Centers are offered in each park. These are a great place for a quick break, larger changing areas than the regular bathrooms around the parks, and even have a few essentials available for sale if you run short of some items your little ones may need in the parks - like diapers, wipes, and some over-the-counter medications! Additionally, you are welcome to bring your own stroller to the parks (as long as it meets the
size requirements) or single and double
strollers are available to rent. If you have any Mouseketeers enjoying their first visit, make sure to grab a complimentary "First Visit" button from your resort hotel, guest services, or many locations within the parks to celebrate the occasion! There are several great videos from some of my fellow panelists in our
planDisney video library for traveling with little ones that you may want to check out for even more tips to help you plan your trip.
Emily, I hope you and your family have a magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Please stop by planDisney again with any other questions we can help you with as you count down to your vacation!
See ya real soon,
Kristi
