When dining, can quick service credits be applied to a sit down, Level 1, restaurant? Thanks!

Hey there, hi there, ho there Suzi! You're as welcome as can be at planDisney. I love talking Disney Dining Plans, so thanks for sending in your question today.

The Disney Dining Plan includes a combination of one Table Service entitlement, one Quick-Service entitlement, and one snack per person, per night of stay. And let's not forget my favorite part... the resort-refillable mug! My family always heads to our Disney resort's Quick-Service restaurant as soon as we arrive to claim our mugs. We love using them throughout our vacation at the refill stations for free soda, coffee, ice tea, hot cocoa, and lemonade. Yes, having unlimited free refills of Diet Coke while on vacation at Walt Disney World... well, that's pretty much my definition of 'happily ever after'!

At this time, the different types of entitlements you receive with the Dining Plan are not interchangeable. So for instance, you can't use two Quick-Service meals in exchange for one sit down, Table Service meal. But you do have flexibility in how and when you use your entitlements! You may choose to dine twice at counter service restaurants on a busy park day, each guest using 2 of their Quick-Service credits in one day. Then the next day, you may use 2 Table Service credits in one day... perhaps with a fun breakfast character dining experience at Topolino's Terrace (my absolute favorite!) and a fan favorite classic like 'Ohana in the early evening for dinner. That's a magical dining day, right there! Be sure to make some advance dining reservations for any Table Service meals you are planning, starting 60 days in advance of your arrival.

Did you know you can easily keep track of your remaining Dining Plan credits inside the My Disney Experience app? Just click on your resort reservation link on the home page, then scroll down on the helpful resort details page and look for a "Check Dining Plan" tab. Your credits will be available starting on your check-in day, and remain valid through midnight on check-out day.

Suzi, I hope this helps you plan for some tasty eats while at Walt Disney World. I'll be wishing upon a star for you to have a wonderful vacation! Please send me a message at planDisney if you have other questions I can assist with.

    Magical memories await!
