On dining plan for trip in 2016 & have ADR for HDDR, cat 1. I read dining plan details & see that I can only use credits for cat 2 & 3 for the 6:15 show. Can I just pay the differential? Or decide on paying OOP for cat 1 or change to cat 2?

Hi, Jacqueline! I hope you are ready for a rollicking good time! Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is one of the longest running shows at Walt Disney World for many great reasons. I hear it is a wonderfully entertaining place to take the family and has some of the best fried chicken you will ever put in your mouth! My family is finally planning to go next week after hearing so many wonderful things about it over the years. My girls are so excited to be able to sing along with the Pioneer Hall Players and have been practicing their best, "Yeeha!"

When using the Disney Dining Plan, you will be able to choose Category 1 seating for only the 8:30 p.m. show. The earlier shows do require you to choose Category 2 or 3. At this time, Guests are not able to pay to upgrade to the higher Category. You can give Disney Dining a call to see if there is availability in the 8:30 p.m. show if you would like to stick with Category 1, which you will need to pay for on your own. You could also have Disney Dining swap you to one of the other Categories, based on availability. My fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist, Amanda, recently stomped and clapped her way through a finger lickin' good meal at Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue and gives a wonderful review of her Category 2 seats.

I hope you have a magical day, Jacqueline! Please stop by again if you have any further questions.
