If you have the dining plan, do you still tip?

    Dear Lisa,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How wonderful to hear that you have added a Dining Plan to your trip! You will see that having a Dining Plan is very convenient for everyone as it allows guests to focus on the food and not so much on the price of every item.

Gratuity is not generally included unless otherwise indicated at the time of booking. Remember that an automatic 18% gratuity charge will be added to your bill for parties of six people or more. Gratuity can be paid in different ways, you may choose to add it to your room reservation, use a card, by cash or using a Disney Gift Card. If you believe you have received exceptional assistance by your server, you are more than welcome to tip them even when gratuity has already been covered.

If you still have questions about dining in general, please call (407) 939-1947 (keep this phone directory handy) to speak to a friendly Cast Member.

I hope you have a super magical trip with your family, Lisa! Please come back soon!

    Happy Disney Dining!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
