We are on the dining plan with table service but we can't seem to get table service on certain days, can we use a table for a counter service.

Hi Marie! I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble making reservations at table-service restaurants during your upcoming Disney World vacation. On the Disney Dining Plan, you are allowed to use your table-service credits for meals at the counter-service restaurants. However, I want you to get the most bang for your buck on your Dining Plan, so don't give up on the table-service restaurants. Try searching online for reservation availability by clicking here. Fill in the date and your party size, but leave the restaurant name blank and just search for "lunch" or "dinner" rather than for a specific time. The system will pull up all restaurants with available tables. Be persistent and check frequently for reservation openings as many people will cancel reservations as they firm up their plans. If you are unable to make a reservation, try walking up and asking for a table. If you're willing to dine early or late, rather than at peak times, you'll have a better chance of getting in a sit-down restaurant without a reservation.

Wishing you a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
