Hello there, Annemaria! It’s so lovely to see you again here at
planDisney. What a magical trip you have ahead in 2026! Staying at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort and using the Disney Dining Plan? That’s what I call a dream combo!
Let’s talk dining magic! Yes, you are absolutely welcome to visit other
Disney Resorts Collection hotels throughout your stay, even if you’re not staying there overnight. One of my favorite parts of a Walt Disney World vacation is exploring the stunning lobbies and delicious restaurants across property, and your dining plan makes it even more fun!
Now, while some table-service restaurants do accept walk-ups, keep in mind that popular spots tend to fill up fast, especially places like
'Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort,
1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and
California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. If you have your heart set on a specific location (especially one with a fireworks view!), I highly recommend making a reservation as early as possible.
You’ll be able to start booking your dining reservations 60 days before your check-in date, and if you’re staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can even book for your entire length of stay (up to 10 days!) all at once. This gives you the best chance of grabbing those hard-to-get spots!
For an extra magical evening, one of the best fireworks-viewing experiences is
Celebration at the Top – Sip, Savor, Sparkle at California Grill. It’s a premium Enchanting Extra that includes gourmet bites, specialty drinks, and breathtaking views of Happily Ever After from a private balcony. Just keep in mind that it’s a special experience with a higher price point and reservations are highly recommended.
Annemaria, I hope this helps you plan some truly unforgettable meals! If you need help choosing restaurants or figuring out how to use your dining plan to its fullest, I’m always here and so happy to help. Wishing you delicious dishes and dazzling views!
Warm hugs,
Ana Paula
