With the Dining plan it says alcoholic drinks are not included...but if we do the Aloha Dinner show at the Polynesian, alcoholic drinks are included....so would we be charged extra for the drinks?

Alcoholic beverages are, for the most part, not included with meals on the DIsney Dining Plan. You have happened upon the only small exception to this. The two Disney dinner shows, the Aloha Luau at the Polynesian and the Hoop Dee Doo Revue at Fort Wilderness, do include a limited list of alcoholic beverages in the prices of the meal. These are some domestic beers and wines and sangria.

Any additional alcoholic beverages would not be covered under the Dining Plan. For example, at the Luau there are fancy, fruity drinks like daiquiris and other frozen and mixed concoctions. You are welcome to order these, but you would be required to pay for them separately using money (cash, credit card, etc.) rather than with the Dining Plan credits.
