If you have the dining plan and are at a Quick Service location are you allowed to use the QS credit on a side dish because the entree choices aren’t appealing to you but love the sides? The option isn’t a snack credit which I don’t want to use anyway.

    Hi Melissa,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We love seeing friends return to ask us additional questions, and I'm so excited to hear that you are planning another visit to the most magical place on earth!

I checked with a Cast Member who specializes in Disney Dining Plans for you, and they said that you'll really need to check with each individual restaurant as it's up to their discretion. Many of the side items are offered as snack credits, but since it sounds like you don't want to use a snack credit, you may be able to order the entrée that comes with the side dish as your meal and just ask them to hold the entrée portion of it. You would still be able to enjoy a beverage with your Disney Dining Plan entitlement that way. If you want to write us back and share the specific Quick-Service restaurant and side item that you're thinking about, we'd be happy to give you a more specific answer, although, since your trip is planned for next fall, the answer could be subject to change. With such a wide variety of Quick-Service meals available all around the Walt Disney World Resort, I hope you find exactly the dish that helps your "tumbly" not be "rumbly" any more, as our friend Winnie the Pooh would say.

Please let us know what other questions you have as you're planning your trip, Melissa, and have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
