Hi Sandy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
With hundreds of unique restaurants and a plethora of snack options, dining is a HUGE part of any Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
I am happy to let you know that in most cases, you are welcome to share a meal when redeeming a
Disney Dining Plan entitlement. We are big snackers and prefer not to have very large meals. We will often order one meal and will sometimes pay for an extra side or an appetizer. We always feel eating this way provides plenty of food without feeling overstuffed, leaving us room to enjoy our favorite snacks. While sharing a plate is up to the discretion of the management of any particular restaurant location, I have not had a problem ordering a meal to share at Table Service locations where guests order from a standard menu. At dining locations that are prix fixe, such as
Cinderella's Royal Table or
Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White, or
buffet or family style locations such as The Crystal Palace, 'Ohana, or Chef Mickey's, all diners will need to redeem a Table Service credit, or 2 Table Service credits per meal at
Signature Dining locations.
At
Counter Service locations you should not have a problem ordering one meal to share. Generally I find portions are large and easily shareable.
I hope that helps! Please feel free to visit the Moms Panel again with any additional questions you may have.
Bon appetit!
Anne Marie
