    If we are on the dining plan can we pay for a tip with our magic bands or do we have to carry around a credit card and/or cash to pay the tip?

    Hi Holly!   Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we love to help guests plan magical vacations.  You are going to enjoy the Disney Dining Plan, it is a great way to save about 15% off the cost of meals while you are at The Most Magical Place on Earth.   

    Holly, you most certainly can use your MagicBand to pay for tips at Disney Dining locations.   When you are finished with your meal your server will scan your MagicBand and you will simply fill out your receipt with the amount you would like to leave as a gratuity.   At the end of your trip you can settle your account balance with a credit card, cash, or a Disney Gift Card.
