    we did the dining plan last year and it didn't seem like we used our snack points but only for drinks. I would like info on the best places & options for great snacks, all I know is the ice cream cookie sandwich from Sleepy Hollow. Please help if you c

    Hi Hilary, You have no idea how excited I was to read your question as I love to talk "food!"  I think it would be safe to say that one of the most popular snacks on property is the Dole Whip at Aloha Isle in the Magic Kingdom. The Dole Whip is a non-dairy, soft serve, frozen creation that can be enjoyed served alone in a cup or with pineapple juice as a float. Some of my family's "must have" snacks while on Disney Vacations include cinnamon glazed almonds, Mickey Ice Cream Bars, Mickey Pretzels, and Chocolate Covered Frozen Bananas! These popular items can be found in most of the Disney parks on the beverage or snack carts. Another great way to use your snack credits is on delectable pastries for breakfast, a slice of fruit, or popcorn. Our favorite places to purchase pastries are Main Street Bakery in the Magic Kingdom, Starring Rolls Café in Disney's Hollywood Studios, Kusafiri Coffee Shop in Disney's Animal Kingdom, and the Boardwalk Bakery along the Boardwalk. Goofy's Candy Company, in Downtown Disney, is a candy lover's dream and a great place to spend those snack entitlements. Another great tip is to purchase snacks for your ride home with any unused snack entitlements that you have remaining on your plan.
