I have the Dining Plan. I know Be Our Guest is a Quick Serve for lunch (which does not include dessert). I was wondering if I could use a Table Serve option for lunch and get the dessert with my meal.

    Hi Ruth!

I absolutely love the Disney Dining Plan (DDP)! There were several changes to the 2017 DDP including the addition of an additional snack per guest, per night of stay! You can now get one Quick Service, one Table Service, two Snacks and one refillable resort mug, per guest, per night of stay. What a great deal! Another change that was made was the inclusions for Quick Service Meals, which now include one entree and one non-alcoholic beverage, and the meals no longer include dessert.

Rather than burning a Table Service Credit on a Quick Service Meal, such as Be Our Guest, I think it would be a better value for your money to use a Snack Credit for a dessert. Since you are getting an extra snack credit on the plan, you may not even miss it!

You could also just pay out of pocket for the dessert and use your Quick Service Credit for the meal. You can review the menu ahead of time to get an idea of the desserts offered and the prices.

    Magically,
    Stacy
