Hi! 1. If I get the Dining Plan (including table service) can I redeem a table service meal credit for a quick service meal? 2. Prior to COVID-19, meal credits not used could be redeemed at gift shops for store credit. Will that still continue?

    Hi Gaylene, welcome to planDisney!

I was so excited to hear that the dining plans were returning to Walt Disney World on January 9, 2024! So many Guests have been asking us about this benefit due to the cost savings and convenience of having prepaid meals and snacks.

With the Disney Dining Plan, each member of your party (age 3 and up) will receive a resort refillable mug and the following per night of your stay:

    1 Quick-Service Meal
1 Table-Service Meal (includes Character dining locations)
    1 Snack or Nonalcoholic Beverage

You will not be able to use an extra table-service meal for a quick-service meal.  You can use your snack allotment at gift shops but you will not be able to get store credit for any unused meals.  Meals and snacks that are unused on a particular day will roll over day to day and expire at midnight on the day of checkout.

If you don't think you will be utilizing your table-service meals, the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan might be a better option for you.  With this plan, each member of your party (age 3 and up) will receive a resort refillable mug and the following per night of your stay:

    2 Quick-Service Meals
    1 Snack or Nonalcoholic Beverage

Gaylene, I hope you find this information helpful.  Please let us know if there is anything further we can assist you with.
