Hiya, Hannah, and thank you for stopping by planDisney on your way to Walt Disney World Resort. Your magical vacation begins in a few days, so let's explore your options for getting the best deal in the land!
Some fabulous
Special Offers are going on, so I'm so glad you're taking advantage of them. Since I don't know your current bookings, I would recommend that you call
Tickets and Hotel Reservations. The Cast Members can see what's linked to your My Disney Experience account and make recommendations for any modifications that might save you money.
In general, the
Disney Dining Plan can only be added to a vacation package that bundles theme park tickets and Disney Resort Hotel stays. If you don't have your trip booked as a vacation package, the ticket line can let you know if you're eligible to switch to a package.
For example, I see that the
4-Night, 4-Day Room-and-Ticket Package does offer
free dining for kids. I'm sprinkling pixie dust your way so that you'll be able to take advantage of that fantastic deal!
One of my favorite dining experiences with little ones is at the
Garden Grill Restaurant at EPCOT. This hearty meal is served family style, and you can absolutely ask for seconds! But the main attraction for my son was the character interaction. Mickey himself might pop by your table in his farmer overalls. Because the tables are in a circular, rotating configuration, you can spend time with several special pals one-on-one. Mickey even sat down at our table once; that was a core memory!
Hannah, I hope I've given you a research strategy to get even more magic for your dollar. Tell Mick I said hello, and please
stop by planDisney again.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
