We have the dining plan how is it best to use the vouchers - is it worth getting breakfast with the quick service or save for lunch/dinner and use snacks for breakfast?

    Hi Clare,

You are going to LOVE the flexibility that the Disney Dining Plan offers.  The good news, Clare, is that you can use the entitlements however they work best for your family, and you can even switch things up day to day.

When my family uses the Disney Dining Plan, we spend most of our days either using a snack credit or packing something really simple and portable for our breakfast, then using the meal entitlements for lunch and dinner. However, there are some fantastic breakfast dining options that you won't want to miss. To me, a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort wouldn't be complete without a Mickey waffle! Yum! So some days we switch things up and have our largest meal at breakfast, then we do a snack for lunch, and enjoy another meal at dinnertime.

You will receive all of your meal and snack entitlements when you check in, and they are good through midnight of the day you check out, so you will be able to enjoy the freedom to use them however you'd like. Check the bottom of your dining receipts after each meal, and you'll be able to see how many credits you have remaining.

There are some amazing Table-service and Quick-service dining locations, so enjoy finding something delicious and fun! You're able to make dining reservations 180 days before your arrival, and when you stay at a Disney Resort hotel, you are able to make reservations for up to 10 days of your vacation at that 180-day point.

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Clare, and have a magical...and delicious...vacation!
