On the dining plan we are allowed one dessert. Are we only allowed to get the dessert at the restaurant we are dining at for dinner, or are we allowed to get the dessert any where in the park?

Hi there, Melissa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for taking the time to stop by and submit your Walt Disney World Resort question!

Disney Dining Plans are an excellent way to maximize your experience when visiting Walt Disney World Resort! The dining plans act as a pre-paid meal plan that allows Guests to take the guesswork out of their dining experiences. By paying for your meals prior to your vacation, you can spend less time calculating your budget and more time enjoying some delicious eats!

With both the Disney Dining Plan and the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, Guests receive table-service meal entitlements which include one beverage, one entree, and one dessert. Since one table-service meal entitlement includes these three pieces, you are not currently able to redeem the pieces separately. So, you must order your dessert from the dining location in which you redeem your entire table-service meal entitlement.

Fortunately, though, there are so many amazing dining locations that offer a delectable selection of desserts! My number one recommendation would be ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. In addition to their tasty North Pacific cuisine, this family-style dining location offers one of the best desserts one property: ‘Ohana Bread Pudding a la mode! This one-of-a-kind bread pudding features a sweet caramel sauce with just a hint of banana. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

Have fun continuing to plan for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
