For the dining plan, we have 4 adults, 2 children, and 1 child not on it. Should we make reservations for 7 people, since we all need a seat? And will we be charged the 18% tax since we would have 7 seats even though we are only using 6 meal plans?

Hi, Courtney! You need to make your reservations for seven Guests.  Even though your child doesn't need a dining plan, he or she must be counted in the number of people dining.  Walt Disney World uses this number when figuring restaurant capacity in order to comply with the fire marshal's maximum occupancy, and your child counts in that number.  The automatic 18% gratuity charge will be added to your bill since you have a party of at least 6 (six or more is when it is added).  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
