Our dining party decided on Ohanas for a dinner reservation. Do they accommodate a vegetarian guest?

    Hi, Eileen!

I think most parties with vegetarian eaters get a little nervous about booking dinner at 'Ohana. Known for it's abundant skewers of meat, it's not usually a go-to meal for a vegetarian.

All three of my daughters, at some point, have decided they were vegetarians. I went through that wee bit of panic over 'Ohana reservations, but I knew that I could count on Walt Disney World cast members to help me out.

The culinary staff at 'Ohana has always put together an incredible vegetarian meal for members of my party who preferred a vegetarian diet. While options may vary, they've presented us with a separate bowl of salad with a non-cream based dressing; a vegetarian stir fry with a beautiful assortment of fresh vegetables and tofu; and even a separate dish of the already vegetarian noodles and vegetables all guests receive - but having their own bowl helped avoid cross contamination at the table.

Upon arriving, just let your server know that you have a vegetarian in the party, and they can go over any particular concerns you may have. Also, guests with any special dietary concerns can reach out to Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com to address any anxieties or make any other inquiries.

I hope you have a wonderful meal at 'Ohana, and I wish you many magical memories of your visit to Walt Disney World!
