Hello! Are there any dining packages that include Castle front seating for the Holiday light show?

Hello, Christine! Welcome to planDisney! I’m so happy you stopped by to ask about one of my favorite things... holiday magic at Walt Disney World!

My husband and I attended Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party last year, and I have to say, the Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show was the highlight of the night. Between the traditional holiday music, beautiful castle projections, and the grand finale, it truly captures the joy of the season.

There aren’t currently any dining packages at Magic Kingdom that include castle-front seating for the holiday fireworks. However, there are fireworks dessert parties that offer reserved viewing areas. These take place at Tomorrowland Terrace or in the Plaza Garden, and you can enjoy sweet treats and beverages before watching the show from a premium spot. Please note that these dessert parties require a separate reservation and fee in addition to your Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party ticket.

Here’s how the fireworks schedule typically works during the holiday season:
        •    Now through December 20, 2025 (Non-Party Nights): Happily Ever After at 9:00 PM
        •    November 7 – December 21, 2025 (Party Nights): Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks at 10:00 PM are shown only during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (separate event ticket required)
        •    December 22–29, 2025: Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks will be shown nightly for all guests with regular park admission at 8:30 PM

Since you’ll be visiting around December 18, you would need a ticket to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party to see the show that week. But if your stay extends past December 22, you’ll be able to enjoy the same fireworks without the special event ticket; just regular park admission (keep in mind that dessert parties with special seating isn't available during this week). Schedules can always change, so I recommend double-checking the Daily Calendar on the Walt Disney World website closer to your visit.

And if you’re looking for a dining experience paired with a holiday show, don’t miss the Candlelight Processional Dining Packages at EPCOT. This beloved tradition includes a meal at a participating restaurant and guaranteed seating for the performance, which features a celebrity narrator, a full orchestra, and choirs retelling the story of Christmas. It's truly one of the most special holiday events that Disney offers!

I HO-HO-hope this helps you plan some extra holiday magic into your visit, Christine!

    See ya real soon,
    Eean
