Hello and welcome planDisney, Rena (Youkoso!). Thank you for bringing this wonderful question to us. I'm so excited to hear that you are planning to visit the
Disneyland Resort on New Year's Eve. I can't think of a better way to ring in the New Year than with the magic of Disney.
While we unfortunately don't know if there will be any special dining packages available for
fireworks viewing on New Year's Eve, I highly recommend keeping an eye on
Disney Parks Blog. If anything is announced for the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort, this is your best bet for finding the latest and greatest updates.
If there don't happen to be any dining packages for this event, there are some other options for making sure you have a nice viewing spot for the fireworks. You can always find a spot in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. This is the most popular viewing spot, so if you have your heart set on this, you may need to stake out your spot fairly early. If you're looking for a place that's a little more laid back, I recommend the viewing area at "it's a small world." You'll still be able to see any projections that may happen and the fireworks are also visible from here.
No matter what happens, I know your visit will be magical. The resort will be decked out in its holiday best and there will be so many festive things to experience. I love seeing all of the holiday lights up and down Main Street, U.S.A. And don't forget to try my favorite holiday treat, a Mickey gingerbread cookie (Totemo oishii desu).
Rena, I'm sorry I wasn't able to provide you with the answer you were looking for, however, I hope I was able to give you some helpful information. If you have any other questions we can help with, please come back to ask us. Here's wishing you a most magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. Tanoshinde kudasai.
