Hi Joe,
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with your question. With a weeklong stay at
The Most Magical Place on Earth, you and your family are in for an incredible experience—there is so much to see, do, and, of course, eat!
Now, let's ensure we're on the same page regarding
your tickets before diving into dining. If you have a standard 1 Park Per Day ticket, you can only enter EPCOT on the day you've designated to visit that park. That means if you've planned on visiting another park on the day you'd like to dine at EPCOT, you won't be able to head to
EPCOT just for dinner. However, if you have the Park Hopper Option, you can start your day at one park and then make your way to EPCOT for an evening meal. Just be mindful of how you're using your theme park admissions so you don't use a full day's ticket simply for dining.
As for your
Disney Dining Plan, you're always welcome to pay out of pocket for any meals, drinks, or snacks that you choose. When dining at a table-service restaurant, your Cast Member server will typically ask if you'd like to use your Disney Dining Plan, so you'd just let them know you're paying out of pocket for that meal. You can pay with a credit or debit card, cash, or even charge to your room via your MagicBand if you're staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel.
If you're heading to EPCOT for dinner, you've got some fantastic choices! I'm a big fan of grabbing small sharable bites from around World Showcase, sampling a little something from each country is such a fun way to experience the park. But if you're looking for a sit-down meal, you can't go wrong with
San Angel Inn Restaurante in the Mexico Pavilion,
Le Cellier Steakhouse in Canada, or
Chefs de France. If you're more in the mood for a variety of flavors, I highly recommend the Fish and Chips from the UK Pavilion, tacos from the Mexico Pavilion,
bratwurst from Germany,
School Bread from Norway, and
egg rolls from China. You really can't go wrong!
I hope this helps, Joe! If you have any other questions as you count down to your trip, please don't hesitate to
reach out again.
Bon Appétit,
Brent
