We are dining at Be Our Guest, with an advanced dining reservation for 7:30 a.m. What time should we leave our off-site home (approximately 10 miles) from the park to ensure we are on-time for our reservation?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Alicia!

Breakfast at Be Our Guest Restaurant will be such a wonderful way to begin your day at Magic Kingdom Park!  From the moody West Wing to the beautiful ballroom with snow softly falling outside the windows, this dining location is almost an attraction unto itself.

I would plan to arrive at the Magic Kingdom parking area around 45 minutes to an hour prior to your reservation time.  This will allow you time to park, go through security, and make your way by monorail or ferry to the entrance of Magic Kingdom Park.  I suggest using a GPS app such as Google Maps to estimate the travel time from your location to the Magic Kingdom parking area.  I have had success using "Magic Kingdom Toll Plaza" as my destination.  Without knowing your exact location, I would guess you will probably need to allow about 90 minutes total.  Personally, I would rather err on the conservative side and arrive too early than too late.

I hope that helps!  Please stop by the Moms Panel again with any other questions you may have about planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.  Have a wonderful visit!
