We will dining with friends this May at 21 Royal. I understand we will receive park tickets for that day. Today I bought tickets and made park reservations for two additional days after the event. How do I make park reservations for our 21 Royal Day?

Welcome to planDisney, Jen! Dining at 21 Royal and enjoying two additional park days sounds like an incredible visit to the Disneyland Resort. You’re already ahead of the game by purchasing tickets and making reservations for your additional days. I’m happy to help with details for your 21 Royal day itself.

I spoke with the 21 Royal Concierge and confirmed that, once you have booked a dining experience at 21 Royal, the concierge will take care of making your park reservations.  You’ll also receive a physical ticket, which you can use to enter the park on the date of your dining experience. Alternatively, you can scan the barcode on the back of your ticket to load it onto your Disneyland App. Either way, there’s no need to worry about your park reservations. The 21 Royal Concierge has you covered!

My fellow panelist, Tishra, had the opportunity to dine at 21 Royal and shared some great tips on preparing for the evening.  I wanted to call out a couple of suggestions she mentioned. First, You’ll have access to the park prior to your dining experience, so you might want to enjoy a few attractions beforehand. When it comes time for your dining experience, you and your party will meet your VIP guide at the Grand Californian, where you will be shuttled to New Orleans Square. Keep in mind that the entrance to the 21 Royal Residence includes stairwells, so consider this when selecting footwear for the evening!

Since your visit will be in May, it coincides with the “Seasons of the Force” celebration at Disneyland. If you or anyone in your party is a fan of Star Wars, you might want to check out some of the special events planned during this celebration. Highlights include a special presentation of the nightly “Fire of the Rising Moons” show in Galaxy’s Edge, featuring new projection effects, and the return of the thrilling Hyperspace Mountain!

No matter how you choose to spend your visit, Jen, it’s sure to be unforgettable. If you have any additional questions about your upcoming 21 Royal dining, feel free to call the concierge line at (714) 300-7749 or visit us again here at planDisney.

    Happy dining!
