Dining finder on disneyworld.com indicates that dinner shows, Disney's Spirit of Aloha Show, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, and Mickey's Backyard BBQ are Disney Dining Plan restaurants. Is there an extra charge beyond the dining plan to see shows?

    Richard,

That is correct that all of these shows ARE on the Disney Dining Plan.

For these shows (all of which are excellent, by the way!), there is no extra charge beyond the cost of the Dining Plan, but you will need to redeem two table service meal credits per person for these shows.

The Dining Plan qualifies you for Category 2 or Category 3 seating at any of these shows (subject to availability).  Category 1 seating is also available on the Dining Plan for the 9:30pm Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue (again, subject to availability).  Since all of these shows are at relatively small venues, I think the Category 2 & 3 seating is perfectly fine, and is just slightly father back from the stage.  There really aren't any particularly bad seats, in my opinion.

A few other things to note about these shows:
    - Gratuities are also covered when using the dining plan for any of these shows
    - All of these shows can be reserved up to 180 days in advance

    Hope that helps.
