Hey there, hi there, ho there, Nathalie, and welcome to planDisney...a club that's made for you and me! You're in the midst of the magic now, so enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World Resort. One of the best ways to surround yourself with enchantment is to experience a meal with characters, so let's talk about how you'll arrive at Chef Mickey's.

Guests with valid dining reservations at Chef Mickey's will typically be allowed to park at Disney's Contemporary Resort for up to three hours at no charge. That gives you time to browse fabulous shops like Bayview Gifts before and after eating with everyone's favorite chef and his pals. My tip is to have your reservation details in your My Disney Experience mobile app to show the guard when you arrive; they might also ask to see a photo ID.

Just so you know, if you plan to visit Magic Kingdom Park tomorrow, you will have to move your vehicle to the parking lot at the Transportation and Ticket Center. You can take the monorail or ferryboat to the theme park entrance.

My top tip for dining at Chef Mickey's is to be sure and allow yourself enough time to enjoy a visit with all the characters. Pace yourself at the buffet because it could take over an hour for Mickey, Minnie and all their friends to come to your table. And take advantage of the photo opportunity in front of a giant dinner plate! A pal of mine said there were even a couple of fun props his party used for the photo when they visited.

Nathalie, I hope you join the jamboree because you're as welcome as can be! Feel free to stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
