    We are dining in DTD on May 27th. No availability at T-Rex. Is there a chance a spot could open up? We really wanted to take the kids. Any other suggestions for DTD? Kids are 3 and 5. Thanks!

    Hi Suzanne,  My family loves dining at T-REX Café!  I am so sorry that you were unable to get an Advanced Dining Reservation for this Prehistoric themed restaurant. I do think something could potentially open up at a later date. However, I would recommend calling T-REX Café directly at 407) 828-TREX (8739) to see if you can snag a reservation that way. I have had success doing this exact same thing when I was unable to get an Advanced Dining Reservation through Disney. You may also find lunch to be an easier time of day to get availability, if your meal times are flexible. Rainforest Café is another fun restaurant for children in Downtown Disney. It offers a similar concept as T-REX Café featuring life-size animatronic animals, but in a jungle setting. Rainforest Café also has a second location at Disney's Animal Kingdom park. These two exciting restaurants would be my top picks for the ages of your children! I hope this helps!  Here's hoping you have success in securing an Advanced Dining Reservation at T-REX Café and that you all have a "Roaring" good time!
