Is the Dining Deluxe plan really a better value than the base dining plan? There will be 2A and 1K (age 4) on the plan. I have been to Disney 3 times and I am having trouble deciding if adding an extra $340 on top of the base dining plan is a better deal

    Hi Melanie,

Here is my point of view on the difference between the Basic and Deluxe Dining plans.

If you can eat three full meals a day and two snacks, go for the Deluxe.  If you are going to use this opportunity to eat at the most expensive restaurants, then go for the Deluxe.  If your four year old eats anything and everything and will sit for three meals without wanting to go, go, go, then go for the Deluxe.

If you can not answer yes, to one of these questions, then go for the Basic.

The Basic meal provides you with a lot of food.  For me, I know my children do not want to stop and eat three sit down meals a day which is one of the extras of the Deluxe plan.

    Enjoy!
