Hello, How many dining credits will be taken for menu item designed for two guest to share?

Hello, Tyra! I am so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

Walt Disney World Resort has some fantastic dining choices on property. When you're looking for a truly splurge-worthy experience, look no further than the Signature Dining experiences, which are my favorite choices for a date night or special occasion. Speaking of special occasions, there's something very romantic about sharing a meal, so if you and your dining partner are of the same mind when it comes to ordering, then I think ordering a menu item meant for two Guests is an excellent idea! Both Le Cellier Steakhouse's Châteaubriand for Two and Yachtsman Steakhouse's 28-oz Prime Porterhouse for Two come to mind.

Due to the size of the steaks and the number of sides that come with it, these meals require two Table Service credits per person, or a total of four dining credits on the Disney Dining Plan. If you order an entree for two at a Table Service restaurant that is not a Signature Restaurant, such as the Parrilladas at Epcot's La Hacienda de San Angel, then one Table Service credit per person will be deducted, for a total of two credits.  Keep in mind that each Guest will still each receive their own beverage and dessert, even though they are sharing an entree.

I hope you have a memorable meal, Tyra! Please feel free to write back if there's anything else we can help you with!
