Hi Giovanna,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you're planning a magical getaway to the Walt Disney World Resort with some special Mouseketeers in your life. How FUN!
I know I'm in the minority, but I actually
like budgeting. It's fun for me to look through the different
restaurant menus and plan where we might eat and what it might cost. While you'll find a range in meal costs at Quick-service restaurants, and prices are always subject to change, I generally plan on around $15 per meal for adults and $8 per meal for kids. If you enjoy specialty drinks and desserts with your meals, you'll want to add a little more. Of course, what would a visit to the most magical place on earth be without some Mickey-shaped snacks!? I usually plan on several of those each day, too, at an average of around $6 each. If you're planning to dine at some Table-service restaurants, those costs will vary quite a bit, and I'd encourage you to either check Disney's website for menu prices or come back and ask us another question about a specific restaurant you're considering.
Also, did you know that you're able to bring your own food and drinks with you into the parks? My family likes to arrive early so that we're ready for all of the magic and fun as soon as the park opens, so we usually pack something simple with us for breakfast and eat it while we wait, then we like to grab an early lunch around 11:00 a.m. With
mobile ordering available through the My Disney Experience app, stopping to grab a bite to eat is easy peasy!
I hope that this helps you plan a bit, Giovanna. Thanks so much for stopping by, and please let us know if we can help with anything else. I hope that you have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
Missy
