We are dining Ale & Compass in October. I am wondering if children are able to get the continental enhancement and if they'll have the adult pricing of $25 or not. Further, can our children use a child dining credit for table service on that meal?

    Hi Rachel,

Ale & Compass is a delicious breakfast option! The Continental Enhancement is a great deal for adults because it includes the buffet, a drink, and your choice of entree. I highly recommend this location for breakfast because everything we have ever eaten there has been delicious. The buffet is also great because you get to sample quite a few pastries, fruit, and add-ons. If anyone in your party has allergies, this restaurant also has some of the best allergy-friendly breakfast options at Disney World. They actually brought me a whole plate of gluten-free pastries that I boxed up and brought home to eat later on my last visit.

They do allow children to add on the Continental Enhancement, but the price is not listed on the official menu. I have had them add this option for a child in the past at a rate lower than the standard $25 for adults, but since it is not listed, that is not guaranteed. Ale & Compass does take the Disney Dining Plan for breakfast, and one table-service meal from your plan will be used when eating here any time of day. If you are using a children's Disney Dining Plan meal, you will need to order from the children's menu. The kids' meals here are super filling, so unless they want a ton of stuff from the buffet, they will probably be happy eating a few items off your plate after you make a trip to fill up.

I tend to shy away from using Disney Dining Plan table-service meals for breakfast unless it is a more expensive character meal. I like to try and get the most possible value out of our Disney Dining Plan so I tend to reserve our meals for more expensive dinner reservations or character experiences. That being said, if you have extra meals and don't know what you want to do with them, this is a fabulous breakfast!

    Happy Planning,
    Jenna
