Hello, Dining advise please! in terms of variety & quality (regardless of price), which of the meal below is better in these 3 restaurants: (1) Chef Mickey - Breakfast or Dinner? (2) Crystal Palace - Lunch or Dinner? (3) Kona Cafe - Lunch or Dinner? Th

Hi, Jessica!  We aren't really comparing apples to apples, but I can give you my opinion of the restaurants!

When it comes to character buffets, I prefer to do a lunch or dinner.  My gang just doesn't eat a big breakfast, and when I think of the cost of the buffets in the morning, it just doesn't make a lot of sense for kids who are going to eat a bowl of cereal and a mom who might eat a few pieces of bacon.  We are not morning people.

For lunch or dinner, you'll find a wonderful variety of food at the Crystal Palace.  The characters are Pooh and friends, and there is something for everyone on the buffet.  The same can be said of Chef Mickey's at dinner, where you'll find Mickey Mouse and some familiar faces.  You'lll find fresh salads, a variety of main courses, and some wonderful desserts.

The Kona Cafe to me is almost like a hidden gem.  I don't think it hits a lot of people's radar, but the food is very good.  You'll find many menu items have an Asian/Polynesian flavor, and they have some wonderful seafood dishes.

If you are looking for the ultimate in variety, I'd say you might enjoy one of the buffets more.  Kona, however, is a wonderful spot to enjoy a relaxing lunch or dinner.

    Have a great visit!
